  3. hello jo got mine yesterday. my mum took it from the postman as he knocked the door coz of the size but the calender wont go through the letter box and it was totaly wrecked. it was soaked and over half open and folded in half even with the big red letters DO NOT BEND on the enverlope. and this is how he handed it to us. she complaned to him and got a complaints number which i will ring and give them some food for thought. but as you can imagen i was gutted. will keep you posted on the outcome. here are some images of what royalmail find exceptable to deliver face to face. i dont no how the guy had the balls to stand there and deliver it as if all was ok.
  4. thanks for all the responces. the special tool was kinda what i thought i had to do. have had the shaft out before and had split it from the inner cv like you segested when i did the clutch a while back i did try to tap it out then on the bench but it didnt seam to budge. may be it did a little coz when i got it back together 2nd gear somtimes is a little hard to select. i had readjusted the cables to ford/haynes spec so i no there some were near. as i got a whole new shaft was gonna replace the lot but now im thinking im gonna split the new one and seeing what happens as for the shaft i have a knocking noise on the nearside front the drive shaft is the only front part i havent changed the rest is new. ie new rack, track rod ends, dampers, top mount, lower arm, arb links, its driving me nuts now and its getting worse. thanks for ur help
