hi,i have a 1970 cortina with a v6 cologne engine, i was insured with sureterm,now on the renewel they want to know where the engine came from ect ect,i dont know this,can anyone recommend an insurance company to insure george please,many thanks,daz

hi,can i ask what is the legal number plate colour for 1970,i thought it was either silver or white letters on a black background front and rear,,can anyone verify this please,,daz

yes its goes very well but i am still considering selling him,he is george by the way !!if anyone knows anyone looking for a cortina send me a message,he has had alot of work done but i guess a bit left to do,carpet,just general titting about with it really,but loads spent,really loads, ,,,,,,,daz

thanks for all comments,,i must admit i have always had american cars in the past,pontiac,chevy ,mustang,,i cant get used to the cortina,my wife did drive it everyday to work and back,and used to drive at weekends,but now its in the garage most of the time,so i dont honestly know how long i am going to hang on to it,not the best time to sell at the moment but its not eating anything in the garage!i do get a hell of alot of attention when we do go out in it,people take pics of it even when we went to a local garden centre,,,daz
