  1. Like others have said, what a bargain and a kool car to work with. My mate Al built a V6 powered Prefect 100e a while back and it was/is a great car, although he has sold it on now and is building a 35 Standard 10 saloon. Best of luck with the rebuild matey.
  2. Thanks guys for the warm reception, it seems like a great place to be for Ford enthusiasts I'll post some pics up of my project when I find out how to post images on the forum. Cheers Dave
  3. Hi my name is Dave Lewer and I'm a mad keen old car enthusiast whether it be hotrods/kustoms or standard classics, though I especially love old Fords. My current project is a 62 Consul Capri which I bought as a rusty hulk and have poured countless hours of welding and fabrication on over the last 8 months. That part of the rebuild is nearing completion, so I've just gone and bought a 2.0 black top Zetec to sit between the rails. I'm going to have to read all the info I can glean from this forum as I'm only used to playing with early mechanics without sensors and ECU's, although I'm sure I'll get pointed in the right direction by some of you guys when I need to ask the obvious - lol. Oh by the way, I have owned a decent amount of vintage Ford metal already in the form of MK2 Consul, MK3 Zephyr, 1700 Corsair, MK1 and 2 Escorts (saloons an estate and a rare camper version), two Ford Classic's another Consul Capri, 3 MK2 Cortina's (2 x 1600e's and a 1600 deluxe). Well that's me done
