  1. Hello Shaun - nice to meet you To be honest, Ian and I got there at 7.15ish and the car park was heaving then ..... I think it was mainly due to the lovely weather bringing the golfers out and the public. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about that as the car park is not reserved for us. That said, it didn't help that the landlord had forgotten we were coming and so didn't keep any parking cordoned off which he has said he will do next time Roll on the next time Jo, hopefuly I wont get lost on the way there and I can take some pics in the day light and speak to a few more people.
  2. Id be up for this as I'm localish to stevanage. When and were?
  3. Organise the parking? I have heard a lot of people say this. I am unsure how we can organise parking in a public car park. I'm not sure how we can make the car park any bigger to accommodate more cars either. We could cram the cars in a bit tighter I suppose, but then people would be blocked in and have to wait to leave. I feel though, that we do our best to organise these meets, get to know the owners of venues, try and get thing sorted for people, but allways end up with complaints. Please tell me, everyone who is displeased, just how can we guess how many people will turn up to a certain meet? The meet was very well organised and I enjoyed going to my first OSF none show/event meet the parking was all that let it down I appriciate you cant take numbers into account or how many people will be there already but just a nod on were abouts to park as it was a bit daunting going somewere ive never been and trying to find a space in a heaving car park, not wanting to ding someone else's pride and joy or my own for that matter. Also leaving was a bit close with the entrance/exit being a bit crowded. Dont take it as a dig as im sure you are already trying to figure out how to make it even better next time.
  4. Was my first meet, plenty of old skool of all variations. Will be going to the next one. The Parking could of been organised a little better though .

From FORD Fair Took her to Tourqe Of The Devil RR with a local Modding site she made 123bhp @ the fly, not bad for a old girl. lol Chris Todd behind the wheel Me Shes not a concourse(sp) shes a usable classic that gets driven like they should, while taking the greatest care obviously. Ive not had her long but shes just gone through the MOT with no advisors. Also I have a big ole set of 48 Dellortos to go on but I need to find someone to help me fit them as im not overly mechanical, once fitted i'll take to Track and Road as (Correct me if im wrong) the first OSF rolling road day was there. 11. Mine got a full ticket on it the other day I was over the moon. When I asked about emmisions he said its a old car so a visual inspection is all it needs, Noise wise I didnt think it would be tested for that. Mines a 72 Escort if that makes any diffrence.
  12. I'm looking to 1/4mile the Escort and maybe enter the OSFDC but im looking for some advice. Would 13x7 fit on the rear of a Mk1 Escort that has normal arches and has been lowered by 2"?? These would only be fitted for the 1/4mile and normal 6" for road use. Will the 1" make any diffrence?, these 7" would also be slicks. Any help would be great. Shaun.
