Cheers any recommendation? Want power range 2000 to 6000 i believe the 285 cam is quite good. Iv got standard bottom end stage 3 head twin 45s

Iv took head off.the bottom end is fine crank turns as it should etc.on the head iv put socket on cam and when it turns to around cylinder 3 it kind of slips/jerks so im guessing problem is with cam

Thanks.im going to take head off im hoping bottom end is ok least i can then assume prob with valves/ cam etc dont know wh did head but know its second hand cam

Suposedly rebuilt pinto!! with stage 3 head 285 cam.bought an engine off a guy who as a hobby buys pintos and rebuilds.had block honed.crank polished.new shells.bearings.rings gaskets etc valves lapped.trouble is its v hard to turn over by hand and will not run properly no matter how you set timing.its juat not right it needs taking apart re building.the cam was second hand looks like some ware on cylinder 3 lobe.needs new cam and kit prob and setting up
