I got the capri through a friend. it had been stood in a garage for 5 yrs, was brill lifting garage door and seeing it covered in dust and flat tyres. dragged her out, put wd40 in carb and BANG she was away, with stainless pipes sounded awesome. I waited for the snow to go and o our first trip 4 miles later (and yes 1 wheel spin) I heard clatter and then nothing except a trail of oil, luckily I was jut round the corner from home, to find back diff shot

hello everyone my name is Flan. I am currently relieving my youth and have bought myself a 3litre capri ghia mk3. we went out on our 1st outing in the sunshine yesterday, did 4 miles and broke down. the back axle looks shotand I am clueless, does anyone know what diff spec I would need and is it an easy job replacing or am I better off replacing the full axle ? thank you
