  1. A conversation that happened at work today between my self and a girl in the office Me - You believe anything ! Her - No I`m don`t Me - Yes you do, your`e so gullible Her - No I`m not Me - Do you know, the word gullible is not in the English dictionary Her- Isn`t it ? Steve
  2. Hi Guys As the title says, looking for a dash top and a pair of Fishnet Recaros for a 78 RS2000. Also wanting a steering wheel and boss for the same. Items must be absolutely mint though ( as long as seats are solid and can be recovered, that's fine ) Let me know of any other items such as rear interior side panels, centre console, and definitely any NOS parts you may have. Cheers Steve
  3. Stripped her to the last nut and bolt apart from the engine, gearbox and rear axle !

Hi Guys I am looking for a really good nose cone for my 78 RS2000. Have you got one, if so how much and can you deliver ? Steve
  6. I guess you are right TEXR. I think I will have to start the search for a replacement nose cone as the South African sun has warped mine to hell ! Decision made I think !
  7. Hmmmmmmmm decisions decisions !!
  8. Hi Guys Unless some NOS panels are donated What are the best fit pattern panels ? I`m sure lots of you will have tried many different ones and im interested in your thoughts and expertise ! Cost isn`t really a huge problem but don`t think I can justify the NOS route Steve
  9. Is there any difference in value when completed. I suppose I`m asking if changing it to flat front will devalue it in any way Steve
  10. Hi Guys Just about to start buying panels for the restoration of my RS2000. I prefer the look of the flat front to the nosecone but would it be wrong to change it from it`s original shape ? Steve
  11. Oh yes ! and probably a few more £££££££££££££££££££££`s as well
  12. Very sorry for herself ! She is half stripped down at the moment. Going for the full restoration !
  13. Guys Anyone know of anyone around Yorkshire that would take on the welding and panelling of my RS. It probably will need floors, wings, front panel, boot floor and back panel, as well as door skins and a few other repairs. It has to be someone recommended and I don`t want it to sit there for months. I may have the paint done as well if there is someone who does both. Steve
  14. Yep, I am the new proud owner Steve
  15. I certainly will !
  16. I certainly am ! Haven`t been to any kind of car show for years and I`m really looking forward to it ! Looking for parts will be the best bit though !
  17. Hi Guys I have owned quite a few old Fords in the past, although they weren't actually old at the time I have decided to restore something and an old Ford was the only choice really. So, I have bought a South African import RS2000 on a 78 vintage, in Signal Yellow. Although complete and taxed and tested, she has gone straight into the garage and is now half stripped, ready for a full restoration. No doubt there will be plenty of questions, so I`ll apologise in advance and I`ll be scouring the for sale section, as there will be lots of bits needed ! Steve
