  1. In true old skool style our granada decided to give us a few heart attacks this week. First one was front drivers tyre, inside had worn down to canvas, that was Monday. On Tuesday the heat got to the tiny crack on the windscreen and sent it 3/4 of the way down the screen. I started stressing! Thankfully in true old skool owner style we have spares. Tuesday night we tried to fit one of the spares (more stressing and a high level of swearing) only to give up! On Wednesday we called the professionals in and about an hour later found out that the screen we tried to fit was a different size to the one that was needed. After all this they finally got one of the other ones in and sorted or so i thought. The chrome window trims have rotted through, urgh more hunting to find new ones. Sooooo halfway through the week and finally I thought we had got everything covered. On Thursday the other half was due to go to Lincoln for his MOT refresher course. All fluids checked and deemed fit to run, so off he went. He came back Thursday night with a face of thunder! In true old skool style she had dumped another problem in our laps, transmission fluid leaking straight onto the hot exhaust. Gah not been our week. So now in true style we r giving up trying to fix the transmission leak and our list of parts we want to find has got that much bigger that we r just going to do a full on overhaul. TYPICAL OLD SKOOL VEHICLES!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I have a few piccies of her, not sure if i edited them or not tho lol, heat makes my mind go fuzzly or is that exhaust fumes hmmmmmmm
  3. Was your mk2 a goldy coloured one?
  4. Hi all, Met a few of you all at Retro Show hehe. Just thought I would join and say hi. So a massive hello to everyone. We own 2 mk 2 ford Granadas, both looking very sorry for themselves lately but massive restoration works is on the cards. One is a Ghia x Automatic which will be my main show car, she is grey and very pretty and the other is a Ghia x manual in dark green. The green one is going to be built into a drift/show car. No moaning at me! His idea! We have a passion for drifting. It is a major part of our lives. I am also an amateur photographer. I love cars. I think thats everything covered, hmmm maybe, I think it is. Right time for me to get off the internet and get ready for another weekend of heat, drifting and classic, hot rod and custom show at parsons drove. Meh never a dull moment round here!
