Hi all On my pinto edition lump I have the standard alternator. I have just wired this up as it's a new install and can only remember removing two wires. It's the alternator with 2 obviously poles with plastic shield 8mm and 10mm nut i think. One to the bulb then to pos the other to battery. When running the light is staying on though. Now there is a third post on the bottom of the alternator...am I missing a wire or should this just be it? thanks

ill have a look tomorrow. what the best way to set it up properly on these. as i have not really looked at the axle, does the whole axle drop out or can you pull it from the front plate? -
Hi All, After some advice. Just put my diff flange back on my 1600E after having it at the prop builders. Without even thinking i just whacked it on and tightned it up (using stanard ratchet with handbrake on) Not realising these were not fixed tube but a crush sleve. Can anyone tell me if this suggestion is the done thing: Buy a Spring Balance Remove Flange nut and reseat it set up the preload using Spring balance Or am i going to have to replace the washer etc now? If so what is the easiest way to replace this. Thanks All

Hi Ian. That's great. I didn't actually measure that before I did the front engine mounts oops. But I have not mounted the gearbox mount yet. I'll see how close I am when I do this. thanks -
Hi all Ordered twice now the wrong brake union size for my mk2 Tina. Calipers are old rs type and master is standard. I think have ordered twice metric unions but they don't fit. Any suggestions are great. Thanks

guys, just put an efi lump in my tina. the wiring loom is plug and play. oil pressure, water temp and alt all go back to ECU. now, i have no tails to attach to the clocks. do i just cut these at the ecu to go to the clocks or piggy back? does the ECU need this information. How have others done it. Thanks

Hi All, Just putting a pinto in my mk2 tina. Using a F reg granada for ti. This has the long engine mounts. Question is my car has a rack conversion and no signs of any old engine mounts ( bought with no engine and all smoothed off ready for a YB) What are the best chassis side mounts for this? thanks

Hi All, For my mk2 tina after a full setup (engine, box, rad, anciliries) Ideally after Pinto 2.0 or 2.1 Essex 3.0 V6 Cologne 2.8 or 2.9 Rover v8 I will also look at modern engines already gone through the inline conversion. Thanks in advance

Hi All, Bought this a few weeks back minus engine. Lots of work in it...space framed front etc..the list goes on. I have just built from scratch a modern wiring loom and fitted it. looking for an engine now Pinto or Essex. Any help would be good. I will keep pics coming as i work on it. Thanks
