cheer's guys -
hope this is ok to post here Shakespeare County Raceway ‘Track Sweeper Collection’ by Outlaw Street As a ‘grass roots’ drag race series Outlaw Street have always loved racing at Shakespeare County Raceway with its relaxed ‘grass roots’ & friendly atmosphere, holding four of the series race meets at the track this year. Through racing at the track it came to our attention that they were really in need of a replacement trac...k sweeper as the current one had been in loyal service for over 15+ years and had sadly reached the end of the road! No racer ever wants to detonate their pride & joy on the track but as we all know it can happen to any of us & with the old sweeper the track crew have a devils own job of clearing trackside. Sweepers in today’s economy are often hard to come by and when one does come long it usually comes with a hefty calling card which is why Outlaw Street have committed to SCR to try and assist in offsetting some of its funding. After all it's to all of our benefit to have the best track possible. We started collecting this week and thus far have already raised in excess of £300 with a target of £1,500. Outlaw Street members will also be at Shakespeare County Raceway on the weekend of the 1st & 2nd October with collection buckets and will make a cheque presentation to Jerry Cookson of SCR at the Outlaw Street 2011 Prize Night on November 26th. If you would like to make a donation to the collection you can do so via our PayPal account at: outlawstreet@hotmail.co.uk If you would like to send a cheque or make a donation as a club/series then please email outlawstreet@hotmail.co.uk to arrange. We would really appreciate any and all support to achieve this target for SCR. Many thanks Mark & all from Outlaw Street

hi guys yes sadly the old shell had some issues and i was never overly happy with the weight of it so the new one is lighter and has a fair bit more power to boot along with a whole host of new trick parts . the new shell is slightly less in ya face with the body mods but as a complete package i think it actually works better . here's how it looks now this is the base car it was built from :

again cheer's for the compliments guys well its back in the workshop now the C4 is out just waiting for the tremec TKO 5speed box to turn up now so i've been doing a few of the little odd jobs that ya mean to do but never get round to new led dash lights and side lights fitted and I've got the inlet off as i had an annoying oil leak plus i wanted to do some more work on the nitrous side so that will be going back on at the weekend with all the new mods done and hopefully no more oil leak

Well, I'm no expert, and bearing in mind I'm guessing from a buyers perspective, not a sellers, so I'm looking at it from a less involved viewpoint, I'd say at least £7000, but if it were on ebay, I think you could start it at £7000 and it would more than likely rise. Its an awesome motor mate, what a sound!! Are you taking it anywhere? Like any shows or anything? I'd love to see/hear it in the flesh. i'm hoping to get it to quite a few shows next season as well as a pretty full race season with the uk streetracers at Santa pod and Avon park . i would be very depressed if i could only get 7k for it if i sold it as there more than twice that in the running gear but i know what your saying it is very hard to put a price on it to high people wouldn't see it for what its worth as there is quite a bit more to it than meets the eye but i have no plans to sell it anyway its a car i have alway wanted to build and the base vehicle i built it from i have had for years

There is always some bad apples in the barrel , Some of us are the good guys and actually want to do some good, thats the reason why I joined don't worrie mate don't think anybody is blaming any of the decent police out there but it is very depressing to go into a station thats a stones throw from the scene of crime only to be told they don't know anything about the incident and that they are to busy to pick the phone/radio up to find out who it is thats mean't to be dealing with it i called in at rayleigh station on the way home the actual station dealing with it is basildon but it the doris on the desk at rayleigh just 30 seconds to find that out why did pitsea ploice station waste my time by not lifting a finger to help a victim of crime that what is really annoying people about the police seems to be a growing trend to just say no sorry that crime is to un important we very busy . the only thing the officers at pitsea station were busy doing was chatting to each other while sitting on thier desks they knew i was there but i had to press the attension buzzer for them to even come to the window its not like our workshop was an isolated insident 5 other workshops were broken into at the same time that in my eyes is a pretty major crime which would deserve at least some attension just looks like the system don't work any more and as i have said i hope the police catch them before me or anyone down the workshops do because the way it looks to us is the police don't seem to want to stop these sorts of crimes what we need are more officers like yorself that want to make a difference sorry for the bit of a rant there but was somthing i needed to say and thanks for the support it really means alot cheers

police won't do any finger printing infact pitsea police (which is literaly in the next road) won't do anything i had to go to rayleigh police station(5 miles down the road) just to be able to find out which officers were dealing with it as pitsea police were to busy sitting on there desks chatting with each other to do anything don't think they have worked out how to use the phone there yet twats

just got back from the workshop after reciving a phone call saying it had been broken into got there to be greated by this most of the place has been ramsacked both the van and spikes chevette have been damaged my zetec has had the inlets carbs and throttle linkage ripped off 5 sets of snapon spaners stolen also all cupboards forced open we think they had planned on coming back for a second go as alot of things were found outside and stacked up by the door including my nitrous system and the supercharger that used to be on TNO all in all just over a grands worth of stuff has been stolen if anybody sees sets of spanners with GC etched on them let me know as they will be evilgeds ones same goes for the 40DCOE's which were fully rebuilt just 2 weeks ago they have a brand new linkage and brand new tubosport manifold heres what they used to look like. had a great time trying to get the police to even lift a finger to help ended up going to a completely diferent police station as pitsea police seem to have no idea what being a police officer involves telling me that they are way to busy contact the officers who were involved to tell them that more stuff had been stolen and that they would'nt know who was dealing with it anyway baring in mind they are within spitting distance of the yard apparently they don't deal with stuff that far out tossers
