It is possible to mot a car and not use the brake rollers, using an old school tapley meter instead, if the vehicle is 4wd, or has an lsd fitted, and you are not sure if the brake rollers will cause any damage, then this is what should be used! In reality, most lsd,s should be ok, unless they are set very tight with lots of preload, but I always use the tapley meter anyway, to be sure of no damage. If you advise your mot tester about its fitment, he should be ok using this method! Hth, Paul

  3. I am after the sump and pick up pipe, and dipstick tube, and baffle plate and bolts, from a escort silver top zetec, poss a 1.6 or 1.8 will do. Will happily buy one of the engines from you, if it has the parts I need, and is cheap enough! I am not too far from you, what sort of money are you after?...
