I know I'm REALLY going to regret this but I've decided to sell the car. It's spending most of the time locked away in the garage and I'm never realistically going to get it out on a track, which was the main purpose of building it. Only covered 1300 miles in the last year Cheers Neil

I don't use the standard gauge in the dash and have an aftermarket one. It uses the standard sender in the cylinder head. It might be worth checking the voltage regulator at the back of the dash as I had to replace mine when the fuel gauge started giving erratic readings. That fixed my problem. Cheers Neil

Never had any problem with the temperature and it stays in the mid 80's when driving. Only issue I had was with the fan running on too long, but an updated fan switch on the rad cured it. Have you tested your temp sender and thermostat in case they are causing the problem?
