Hi Vista The Irish Ford Escort Owners Club have members from both sides of the border here in Ireland. Mabey you have seen some of the cars displaying a UK registration in the link provided. Unfortunately i dont have the information to hand but will get back to you on this matter. Glad you like the images too. Edit I have since been contacted by a friend to clarify the situation. Yes a UK registered car can retain its plate whilst being used in Northern Ireland. The reverse side of the story is that quite a few UK residents buy Northern Ireland plates to use in the mainland. Hope this information was of use to you.

Hi everyone I attended a Retro meet in Ballina which was basically a chance for me to get my new studio lights out of their boxes and give them a go. Before the deluge of constant rain i got some of the Neal Egan Club Members to help me out regarding moving them around as the shoot progressed. Any cars that arrived late had to be photographed with ambient light from a small shopping center which i wasent too happy about. Held in Mayo, Ireland once a year this run was organised by Declan Munnelly and friends from the Irish Escort Owners Club. I was half an hour late for the off and luckily Declan and co held everything up until i got into position. We drove from Ballina out to Blacksod on the coast. After a brief stop we went for dinner and with a quick blast around Keadue Fields ( Excuse if i have spelt this wrong ) we finished back at Declans workshop for Tea and Scons with an eye open on what he was working on recently. The weather held out and everyone was very happy considering it was getting dark before we drove home.
