I can't build it how I want it....I don't have the skill or talent or money...but I'll keep it simple and follow the normal path that everyone seems to follow..

Must admit to buying a 'new'type 9 gearbox and a 105e axle and keep looking at Alan dents bits and bobs

Just bought it and it's coming home Thursday...it's grey, not sure if it's a pop or what...it's got a flat chrome sheet grill,three speed box and manky sills...but it's lived inside majority of its life,one owner and 30000ish miles,not sure what to do,standard resto or bring it up to date,engine starts but only runs on choke and there's very little in the way of brakes,daughter fancies it as her 'prom' taxi' so I need to get it running,what's the mot situation and presumably I don't need tax...any body got any ideas on the brake situation,guess it's been stood for thirty years so guess it'll be full overhaul.

got to be old school.....pinto,type 9,front struts,minilites....dont really want to rebuild anything if possible,whats out there?
