  1. They are not as good as a zetec but twice the hb of 997 pre x flow which is what I'm changing, and should fit without chopping up the bulkhead . We've had a few 1.3 ka's with the 8 valve endura engines never had a problem there bullet prof and would be plenty quick enough for an old anglia. I've not seen this convertion but it's not because the engine is crap ford fitted this engine for years and been used in thousands of cars. Gaz
  2. Hi, if your still looking for a 105e I've got a1963 997 all steel and solid , it's had the front brakes converted to disc and all suspension polly bushed, looking for around £3500 for it give me a call if interested 07989868507
  3. Hi ,there seems to be plenty of fiestas & ka out there going cheap with good low mileage 8 valve endura engines. I now there the same Kent block so bolt patterns should fit but what about the shaft size and spicket bearing. Does anybody no or have done this conversation cheers gaz
  4. Hi, been into yanks and hot rods for years but now have a 1963 105e . First thing I've done is getting it stopping better so discs fitted to the front, gone down the escort disc ka calliper works really well. Now I want to change the engine and the awful crash box, I was thinking mx5 but that won't fit without cutting the bulk head which I don't want to do also oil sump wrong the pan is at the back, so looking for a small front sump engine ka or fiesta endura or duratec they should fit only problem is what gearbox been told possibly a type 9 , any info on this or another option . Cheers gaz
