  3. wicked start,
  4. Its been a while but its finally back, lots of old skool Ford comtent promised in the coming months
  5. nice one mate, i though i was going mad in me old age there for a bit knew i'd seen it, i think the mag it was featured in Custom Car, Rod and Custom or Street Machine etc probably just called the feature Lemon Squash.
  6. oh my days, is that battersea park?, i think i went to that event, bloody years ago.
  7. think lemon squash was a Mk1 capri with roof chop, cologne kit and 302, V8 in it. Appliane wheels to i reckon
  8. wont have time to work on the motor till the weekend now, but i'll give that a go
  9. dunno yet, its raining cats and dogs here today, cant be arsed to work on the car
  10. that'll do the job
  11. thanks for the tip mate. what brakes are you running on yours, got a 302 in mine and the brakes are struggling... when they're not stuck, lol
  12. not really much rust, just a touch but that cleaned off almost instantly on driving, pads are properly jammed in there, reckon the piston might be siezed, hoping to take the whole lot apart tommorow if i get a chance. maybe soak everything in WD40 to free it off and grease it all up.
  13. If its not one thing its another getting the 72 Capri out of storage and ready for daily driver duty, its been driven a bit over the winter, mainly round the bloke every few weeks, havent had any issues. well, not many. but. looks like the front brakes are sticking on good and proper, only got down the road this morning and had the front right pulling like mad on braking, jacked it up and the front right brake was stuck good, let it cool off and was able to drive it back, got in the garage and now looks like the front right is doing the same thing. what do you reckon brake gurus? will a few hot and cold cycles trying to drive it free the brakes off, or are they knackered?
  14. wicked old skool recaros
  15. nice job mate, love old Pops me, Pinball wizard, speed freak, puddle jumper and all that, now make with the pics
