I'm Graham, the old guy at Chester Sportscars. My first job as a Rep when I was 21, they gave us Mk 1 Escorts with 1.1 engines, so my Ford ownership goes way back. I remember with regret that in those first years driving, I crashed a fair few Escorts; the impatience of youth, eh ? I'm not any slower these days, but at least the cars all have disc brakes now. My current Ford is a Mk 1 Cortina with ST170 motor; roll on the Show season.
