Yeah that's one of the big draw backs of pretty much any old car. Hopefully insurance would go down a few bob if a good alarm and immobilizer are installed. Quite fancy doing a zetec turbo, hopefully should be doing a turbo zetec on our MK4 Escort Combi Estate in the next year or two

Yeah I'm one for more of the sleeper look myself. So I probably won't really change anything on the out side. Apart from maybe some wide arches if some 13x7s come up for cheap. But defiantly have to have the XR2 front lights! Are there any good security systems available for these??

Yeah i'm going to keep it pretty stock, maybe some lowering springs, stiffer shocks and some nice alley cat wheels. Then leave it for a year or two until I drop a 16v in there

As some of you know, I'm wanting a MK1 Fiesta for my first car after Xmas. As anything I'll have a budget ( not sure what yet lol) Just wondering, what would be the first mods you would do to it? Reliability? Grip? Big cam etc... Just something to do in the evenings. Matt

Hello all. I'm new around here, and just wanted to make my self known. Currently I am unable to drive (due to being 16 ) Although I hopefully should be getting my hands on a MK1 Fiesta in the coming months. As my first car!!! Unfortunately I won't be able to do many modifications, if any the way insurance is these days. Although I have some massive ideas in my mind involving big turbos Although lots of money . Matt
