  5. Hi Guys, Just finished making a 1/43 replica of my best mates MK1 Fiesta Van ( as featured in the Sept issue of Classic Ford Magazine ) I've repainted the bumpers and mirror, given it clear indicators, converted it to RHD, given it a roof rack, added the 4-spoke alloys and colour coded the rear windows to make it appear as a van. Steve
  6. Great Issue, check out my mates FiesKa Van on the centre pages Steve
  7. Hi All, I'm just in the middle of sorting out a replica of my mates MK1 Fiesta Van ( in this months CF Mag ) and I'm wanting to know if theres such a place that sells tuning items for 1:43 models ( after some RS 4-spoke alloys ) Cheers, Steve
  8. Alan, can you supply them as SUFFIX style plates? had a quick look, but could'nt get it to work as that style! I need the Reg: JLY 751V
  9. Hi guys, I've just bought this off Flea-bay: It's a BBurrago 1/25 model, as you can tell it's a Audi Quattro as used by Gene hunt in Ashes to Ashes. Now i'm wanting to restore it and make it as close to the A2A version as possible. Any advice on strip down, repaint, personallising number plates, changing wheels, sourcing items etc would be greatly recieved. Cheers, Steve
  10. Online ID: focussteve1 Probably be on MW2 as a mate has challanged me on free 4 all, last time he did that he only got 1 shot off at me and it missed
  11. I want uncharted 2, but i've not finished the first one yet
  12. I found myself playing in 'free play' mode alot, can be quite amusing planting a row of TNT on a road, setting off an alarm and then as the german jeeps/wagons are coming towards you, shooting the closest TNT bundle, Domino effect There are improvement's that could be made, but the company went bankrupt , I do like that it's based on a true story
  13. Either in Xbox 360 or PS3 form, Just completed the story part of it and thought it was bloody great , just ashame my mate has nicked it now, looks like i'll have to go back to kicking some workmates arses on MW2 for abit
  14. The guy that owns it is Peter Kennedy , seen it run at york raceway long before it was on Jezza's " full throttle " video
  15. I'll second that
  16. Here you go guys: http://www.acolburn.co.uk/4x4/ heard it's not been used in ages as the owner has cancer
  17. Dont get me wrong, I like escort Cosworths ( well all cosworths ) I think they have a cult following ( like RST's & XR's ) it's just I would'nt call them old skool. I've nothing against new fords ( I also have a M0nde0 ST220 as a weekend car along with the Capri and I bloody love it ) I just get a bigger buzz from what I call a 'proper car', OSF
  18. very true, i know one of them came on here months ago argueing that a XR2i was old skool, dint get them far
  19. I know a few people ( not friends really ) who class any ford made upto the year 2000 as an old skool ford Then when I try to explain what is OSF, they look at me as if i've escaped from somewhere and begin to argue the case that a Escort Cosworth IS OSF It just really gets on my wick when people dont even attempt to listen does anyone else get like this, or is it just me?? steve ( proper OSF driver )
  20. I think It depends really, a few years ago my mate bought an F-reg one that just ( only just ) had T&T, he paid £250 for it and it was a wreck, I mean you could lift both front wings clean off and the boot floor was rotten through But thier values have gone up since then, i'd ( personally ) pay around £700 for it if it's tidy mate one has sold local to me around 9 months ago, nearly concours condition for about £3750 Be intesting if the guy was wrong and it turned out to be a 1.4S tho, now they are RARE ( much nicer than XR2 IMO )
  21. T'is Done
  22. The original Vantage, like in "The living daylights"?? ( thats my fav bond car ever )
  23. I remember watching a program around 12 years ago about to mates who had both a MG Maestro and Montego, both had tuned motors and were clocked at over 160MPH
  24. Probably gunna shoot myself in the foot with this but............. Can MG Montego turbo and MG Maestro Turbo's be classed as old skool Cos I kinda like them too
