Hi all
Just a few words to say hello.
Live in North Wales on the coast and run a restored Mk3 Capri 24v Cosworth along with a restored Mk3 2.0s that my lad uses. The 2.0s is pretty much standard although we have made some subtle improvements that don't detract from it's originality.
Both were pretty much bare shell restorations that took around four years to finish. That said there's always things to be done. We try to use them as much as possible especially in summer time when the salt has gone off the roads.
Over the last few years I've been fiddling round with a new design of fuel sender for the Capri, more of a hobby and interest than anything else as I work full time, but the results have been good and the new design works well.
Been around old Fords all my life and have owned all sorts of Escorts, Granadas, Capris, Fiestas not to mention the Vauxhalls, Rovers, Triumphs, Land Rovers etc from back in the day when they were two a penny. How times have changed from when we were boy racers back in the 80s....or maybe not
