  1. Another Capri owner Welcome. Set of S stripes down the side, a few bits of interior trim and you're sorted. Looks good.
  2. Hi Thanks for the warm welcomes. I've still got some plans for my Cossie but will probably just enjoy it for summer and hopefully meet up with some folk who drive other Fords. I'm a big fan of the Mk1 Escort and know of a few along the coast here in Wales that meet up in Conwy every now and then. First car I owned was a 1600E Cortina so quite fond of those too. Although I began selling the senders through the Capri Power forum that I've been on for a good few years now, some people who weren't members expressed an interest and asked if I could sell them outside of the forum. The obvious one was EBay so I have an advert there which covers the changes I made. It's here if you want to take a look although the detailed thread covering several years of research and testing is on CP. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131815801051?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
  3. Hi all Just a few words to say hello. Live in North Wales on the coast and run a restored Mk3 Capri 24v Cosworth along with a restored Mk3 2.0s that my lad uses. The 2.0s is pretty much standard although we have made some subtle improvements that don't detract from it's originality. Both were pretty much bare shell restorations that took around four years to finish. That said there's always things to be done. We try to use them as much as possible especially in summer time when the salt has gone off the roads. Over the last few years I've been fiddling round with a new design of fuel sender for the Capri, more of a hobby and interest than anything else as I work full time, but the results have been good and the new design works well. Been around old Fords all my life and have owned all sorts of Escorts, Granadas, Capris, Fiestas not to mention the Vauxhalls, Rovers, Triumphs, Land Rovers etc from back in the day when they were two a penny. How times have changed from when we were boy racers back in the 80s....or maybe not Joe
