  1. Hi Ian, thank you very much for your reply. No I havent yet, but appreciate the advice and will take a look there and post. Thanks again.
  2. As recently posted in the New Members section, I am on the lookout for a modified Anglia 105e. Ideally this will incorporate the normal upgrades to engine, suspension, gearbox etc. but I would like it to look relatively stock on the outside and hopefully retain a lot of the original interior (back seats, door cards etc). Any advice and pointers gratefully received. Thank you for your help.
  3. Thank you very much SmokeEm. I will put a post in the 105e section as well.
  4. Thank you guys for the welcome. Would be great to know who I might have spotted. If I remember correctly one of the cars was a primrose yellow maybe with a white roof and the other a light blue I think!
  5. Thanks very much!
  6. Hello! My name is Marcus and I live in North Essex. I have always loved classic cars but have also appreciated a bit of extra power when appropriate. I was therefore drawn to the Caterham 7 and for a number of years have owned a Superlight R300 with a K Series engine (rather than the X-flow which a lot of the earlier cars had). Then about six months or so ago I was driving home around the M25 when two beautiful Anglia 105e's on Lotus wheels passed me by in the tunnel just before the M11 exit and I was hooked! I spotted a sticker saying ''Old Skool Ford'' in the back window of one of them and as soon as I got home I looked up the site and signed up. I have now sold my Caterham and am on the lookout for a not too heavily modified Anglia 105e with if possible the usual upgrades to engine, suspension & gearbox etc but hopefully mainly original interior. Do let me know if you guys know of anything that may be coming up, ideally relatively locally, but happy to travel for the right car. In the meantime I am trying to increase my knowledge from this great site. Thanks again, Marcus
