Hi I'm new and in need of some help I want to start racing and well in short I'm a family man retraining to be a mechanic so in a tight budget I've got a mk2 fiesta and I've got a 1.8 zetec and I've got some bits to turbo it but I don't know if it's overkill or not enough? Any help would be great thanks guys.

Hi my names mike but everyone calls me womble I'm now training to be a mechanic at 30 I know late to the game. I'm now looking for my first real classic ford to race would love any advice on engines and how to set up car to what tyres to go for? And I'm doing it on a tight budget as I have two kids. Thank you for any advice I will get. Also I'm thinking of a mk2 fiesta with a turbo zetec on r888s and lowered by 30mm? Any good or am I on the wrong path.
