Thanks. Only the Taunus GT is still alive of above picture. The other 2 Taunus are scrapped, but it's nice to see the differences between the 3 Taunus models. I think that I have the same catalogus, with the same picture

A very old topic, but I have a Ford Taunus 2.3 GT coupé in the Netherlands. On this moment I'm restoring my car. It will be on the road in March 2017. I'm converting it to a Ford Taunus 2.8 GT S You can follow my restauration on my blog: http://blog.taunus.nl (sorry, but only in Dutch)

This type of Taunus (Cortina mk5) is only build in Argentina for the internal market. They don't have the Taunus Mk2 (Cortina Mk4), but only the Taunus Mk1 and Mk3. They don't have either the Capri. The Taunus Mk1 coupé was very popular in Argentina. So they build there own Taunus Mk3 coupé on basis of the Taunus Mk1 coupé/Cortina Mk3.
