Hi folks, I am just looking for some advice on the ballpark value of my Mk1 Escort. 1972, 2 door, excellent condition but not concours, 1600cc Crossflow (the car is a 1.3L from memory) really low miles 33k, some tasteful upgrades, Bilstein struts/shocks, single leaf springs, AVO front wings, wing mirrors… The paint work is good, solid underneath. The drives really well, but lack of use and house movement may prompt me to sell so just looking for some advice. Thanks.

Hello, I am looking to sell my twin Dellorto DH40 carbs and manifold that have come off my 1600 Crossflow engine. The carbs were running fine when removed but this was a wee while back so would require an overhaul and rejetting dependent on what they were going into. The carbs are in central Scotland. £400

Dellorto DHLA 40 Carbs & Manifold. These were on my Mk1 Escort, 1600cc Crossflow, when I first bought it, but I removed them as I wanted to fit a brake servo and go back to a single carb. When fitted they produced a great induction noise and performance. They have now been off the car and in the garage for a good 5 years so they will require a service and setup. These parts are in good condition and I am only selling as they are no longer needed. The parts are in central Scotland. £500
