  1. I was very nearly in the same boat a couple of weeks ago. Inadequate fuel hoses split badly and dripping on exhaust manifold, luckily caught it in time as I smelt it. They were covered with braided material so really hard to spot. I've seen this story an awful lot recently. Modern fuel is eating through this stuff.
  2. New superlights on last week and new black and silver plates! Much better. Although I have been poking and realised I probably need an entire new rear valance. It's crispy as hell. Poked one hole already. Afraid to poke any more!
  3. thanks man, lovin yours! bet she sounds awesome!
  4. Actually just been told they're not making any more at the moment unfortunately.
  5. I'm glad you posted that because I just joined the MK3 club and didn't realise there were repros available! Thanks!
  6. Ah thanks anyway, I'm erring closer to 14s now i think. There are 14s on her at the minute
  7. Ok, the more I look the more I think i'll go for something smaller with a higher profile so will consider 13s or 14s as well!
  8. Yeah that was me! I can't believe how fast it happened! I had posted on the buysellcortina forum at the same time as here and one of the guys from the MK3 club said someone had contacted him with one to sell so he passed on the sellers details to me and here we are!
  9. Hey folks, just took delivery last Friday of my new money pit! All the way from London to Belfast. Still can't quite believe it at the moment!
  10. Hi folks, just bought a MK3 Cortina but looking to change the wheels as they're not my taste and don't look right on the car to me! Added pics of the wheels I like. Black with silver trim. Would consider all silver if the centre can be easily painted. Don't have to be mint! I'm also in Belfast so they'd have to be posted. Anyone got anything similar for sale? Cheers! Adam
  11. Yeah I think the more I think on it the more I'd like a drivable car that I can upgrade and modify as a I go. I won't want to be sinking an absolute fortune into something.
  12. Hey there, probably would rather try for a rhd to be honest! Never driven a lhd before and would be nervous of having such a difference
  13. No worries, still half considering that one but I know the fact it was a 4 door would niggle at me I think!
