  1. Hiya all My fuel gauge does not work, after further investigation found it was not connected at the rear of the gauge, I cant find the leads to connect so I thought easy enough just find the lead from the tank and run a fresh wire. Problem is I have x2 wires coming from the top of the tank and both are black.... I would imagine one is the earth which I would need to earth to chassis and the other I would need to connect to the one terminal on the back of the gauge whilst a live is on the other terminal. Never had to rewire a fuel gauge before so a bit new for me. Any advice ? as I thought the sender unit normal earthed to chassis so I was surprised to see the x2 wire. cheers Stu
