are those wheels the same as the ones on the 'general lee' the car looks great the way it is man, never been keen on the CVH conversion but each to there own

that looks awesome man you must be well proud of it are they supersport rims? they look like they have more of a deep dish look compared to supersport rims? maybe from a mk2 escort?

just a few pics of the harnesses fitted, that I've finally got uploaded to the computer from my phone my rollcage has been moved a little now because of how the eye bolts of the harnesses have been mounted so need to mark out where to drill yet again gona be working on my Chevette in the next few weeks until my engine is back for this so won't be updated for a while .... well maybe if I get a few presents for the beast over xmas Cheers

nice, 2 up 2 down will look great mate just keep the full bumper? I know quarter bumpers are the dogs danglies but try something different, lots of people seem to be going for quarter bumpers now, it would be good to stand out from the crowd

50mm, but in the first pics it's only 30mm at the front and 50mm at the back, but I've got 50mm all round now, it will soon be lower tho I've just ordered a set of Green Harnesses from RallyDesign wee xmas prezzie to myself heres a few pics of when I got the carpet out my engine should be done soon-ish (hopefully before xmas), spoke to the engine builder last night

yeah I understand your point about it looking the same etc I would say if you spend the right money tho the 1.3 would be just as good anyway moving on from that what interior you gona fit?

any more pics of that yellow one? I've got a project fiesta, unsure whether to RWD it, zetec or just rebuld the 1300 x-flow thats in it or even sell it

nice project mate just a quick question tho, why fit an XR2 engine if its a supersport ? there just as rare as XR2's if not rarer I can't really talk because i've got a 1300S replica but if you've got the real deal why change it? I've noticed lately a few on ebay that are proper supersports with XR2 engines or even been reshelled into a XR2

nice car mate both photoshop and original if your fitting 7" wide wheels I'm sure (if I remember correctly) your gona need rally arches not just an XR2 kit get a set of capri pepperpots on it and a US spec grille

cheers for the comments folks took my carpet,seatbelts out and tidied up the stereo wiring a bit so its all hidden, still got to bolt in the cage (having a few problems with where to mount it) and still to get the engine back and fitted will update once I've got the engine back

**INTERIOR UPDATE** At the weekend I finally got my sparco bucket seats fitted to the fez after them lying in my mums house for the past 6 months or longer I decided it was time to shift them, I also borrowed/took my brothers old 4 point harnesses, here some pics: after fitting the bucket seats, I decided it was time to get rid of the 6x9's that were just placed under the rear seats and tidy up all the wiring but after taking them out and seeing the wiring I thought it was best to either take it all out and start again, or just go without the stereo. So next time I'm working on the car, the stereo will be long gone heres a pic of the wiring I got from under the carpet: I also fitted 50mm lowering springs on the front but no pics because the engine isn't in so doesn't make much difference just now. (you can also see the lovely bit of overspray on the dash thats supposed to be black, not half green ) as you can tell my plans have changed a little, so heres an update on "current plans" PREVIOUS PLANS - tidy up spotlight wires, only work sometimes, and wire heats up rapidly (still to do) - possibly refurb speaker brackets X - buy uprated speakers for rear, and possibly fit 6x9's (not sure where yet ) X - fit RS Turbo front recaros (need to modify subframes) X - possible new head unit X NEW PLANS - get a rear strut brace - rear cage (maybe a full cage depending on £££) - fit engine once it comes back from the engine builders - buy 'L' plates and tax so I can learn to drive In regards to the engine, I'm getting the 1.1 rebuilt just now for when I'm learning/first start driving then a possiblly move onto a high spec 1300 will keep you all updated on what I do
