The rolling shell on my 1200 Super is now ready for a dry build, the engine I am putting in is a Zetec 1800. I spoke with one of the custom parts suppliers at the NEC regarding my plans. He told me that the Old Skool used to slice the bottom of the Aluminium sump turn it 180 degrees and weld it as a cheap alternative to off the shelf sumps. This I have done but I've come up against a problem. The pick pipe fouls the sump any Ideas out there on how to overcome this, I've contacted various suppliers but they cannot help. Cheers
