Hi sounds a little geeky but I was wondering if anyone knows of mk1 and mk2 escort production modifications, for example Jan '70 moved bonnet catch from outside grill to under bonnet. Hi, bought my first escort yesterday, a MK2 Escort estate from 1975. A garage find, been stored away for the last 30 years and it is amazing. Drove it back 150 miles, up some 5k motorway hills, some overheating in 35o temps. Full service today as I was lucky to get back in one piece. Amazing cars!
