Black tops definitely seem cheaper and by all accounts with a little tuning you can get about 200 bhp out of them

Hey there I'm refurbing a mk3 ford cortina and stuck between 2 engines, the 2.0 blacktop or the boa Has anyone done any of these conversions and if so can you advise as to the pros and cons of each? Currently leaning toward the blacktop so if anyone has any advice on what gearbox would be best as well as the best rear end with Isd because hopefully by the time I'm done she'll be sitting between 150 and 200 bhp
