Hey guys new member here, I’ve bought a early 1971 mk1 escort with no number in top chassis turret and no vin plate, I’ve got the Reg but Dvla won’t give me the chassis number to register it to me because I’m not the registered keeper lol any help/ideas? there isn’t an engine so can’t get code from that and the chassis/suspension turret looks original and hasn’t ever had any numbers stamped, I’ve been told the early ones were only on the chassis tag? thanks George
