Good Evening All.
Retro & Classic Ford Track Day – Mondello Park.
As the chairman of Capri Club Ireland;we would like to extend a very warm welcome to all Retro & Classic Ford Fans who would like to take a weekend away and join us in Mondello Park, Naas, Co. Kildare (40Km – Dublin Port), for the first of our two; Retro & Classic Ford Track Days this year on Saturday the 18th of June.
Our first Track day will be on Sat the 18th June which will afford people the opportunity to combine this with Classic Car Live which is on the following day in Mondello Park as well, and make this a memorable weekend of Classic Car activities.
We will run a similar format for the track day as we did for last years event, using the full international circuit (3.4 Kms) for the whole day and alternating between 30 minute sessions of 'Grip' & 'Drift' style driving. By alternating both styles, it will allow drivers the opportunity to drive their vehicles in a manner in which they prefer.
To reserve your place on the track, contact Sharon or Jackie in Mondello Park on 00 353 45 860200. Bookings will be allocated on a 'first come basis' & your place on the Track is only guaranteed once you have paid Mondello Park. We still have some places left and it €200 per car for the complete day. Each vehicle can have a maximum of two drivers and all monies are payable to Mondello Park. Passenger laps will be permitted once people have a helmet and have signed on with Mondello. Gates will open at 8.30 am and they will hold the Driver Safety Briefing at 9.30 am sharp.
In addition, for those people who will require overnight accommodation, we have negotiated a rate with the Osprey Hotel in Naas (4 Star Hotel) of €99 PPS for two nights B&B on the Friday & Sat night and an evening meal on the Saturday night. If you require accommodation, contact the Osprey on 00 353 45 881111 and ask them for the Capri Club Ireland - Retro Track Day Offer.
You can see a full feature on our last event in the most recent edition of Retro Ford Mag. Big Thanks to Ben Morley.
