Hi all. New member posting for the first time. Returning to my youth when I owned a lovely 79 white RS2000 2 door, I recently bought a dark orange 79 2 door Rally pack. I’m pretty sure it’s an original car as it has most of the unique features ie black perforated vinyl trim, rear anti roll bar, tachometer dash, bumperettes and Carello driving lights, rally stripes etc. doing a bit of research however, the ID plate which confirms it as a 79 GL 2 door (tick) with the body number matching the stamping on the strut tower lists its colour as Y (harvest gold) and trim as V (tan) Am I sourcing codes from an English list with different codes?. I know the colour of the car may well have changed but the trim has me confused. The engine is a J for 2000 HC so that seems right. Model 11917 seems correct. Is raw orange the darker orange. thanks in advance.
