How does the peter Lloyd system sound on the car. Is it acceptable for daily driving? Was there any performance gain? Tom

I got a pinto rally engine recently to repair after it was run while low on oil and had a bearing failure. When I opened I found that it had four Farndon Forged I-Beam conrods but the problem with it was one of them was a different type. The width of the big end was only 24mm rather than the 26mm it should be. I was wondering if anyone had one of these in an old box somewhere in their shed that they would consider parting with (for good money of course) Regards Tom

Some of the competition head gaskets such as Felpro are thinner than the standard head gasket which has the effect of increasing the compression ratio and also improving squish(piston closer to the head at TDC) which helps prevent the engine from detonation. Regards Tom
