hoping that now we are getting better weather and lighter evenings that more drivers will be itching to get back on the roads for april. next meet is 1st wed of april. we raised over £350 for Naomi House Childrens Hospice last weds and had a mk2 escort and a blue mk1 escort monster. will are trying to arrange a Charity car show for july more details to come asap.

I do hope that we will still see "oldskoolford" turning up and I hope to see more this year would really like a 50/50 split between new and old. hope we have a good spring and summer weather wise . this wed we are having a charity quiz that all are welcome to. cheers brian

the meets are never cancelled. it may of be we were all inside around a table. discussing shows etc. the chances are that most will bring there daily runners given what the weather has been like. toms not the guy with the white efi capri is he? did meet thast chap at the last meet.

I do try to post on here as much as I can. never really been I guy for forum chat. not sure I met tom. and I am sorry if he was on his own. (my bad) we like to feel we are a friendly group. but we do get a lot of groups of owners that don't mingle. we do try our best to meet all who come to our meets. I am aware that there is a lot of "plastic" at them but that is perfectly ok in our books. we try not to discourage anyone from our events as we never know what will arrive from 1 month to the next. we've seen everything from a low slung mk2 granny to kit cars, metros to 4X4s all are welcome and I put it out to the guys and girls on oldskool ford as I see quite a few cars in the area with the site advertised in the windows. (I did take a drive to a meet near Guildford 1 evening and found myself sat out in the carpark as when I tried to mingle it was like I was infected with something and only one guy (mk1 rs owner-great guy) took the time to talk to us. so we are not the only club out there to not be perfect.)

on the 5th of march we are hosting a Charity quiz night and auction in aid of NAOMI HOUSE childrens hospice. we have loads to auction and welcome more and teams for the quiz. we cater for all models of cars. but rarely see older cars till march/april time when owners start taken them from the garages. we are car lovers and many of us have roots in the blue oval. please come along if free one evening and say hello.

right a new year and a new season of club meets. The Camrose Car Club will be meeting on the 1st wed of the month this month 2nd april 2014 time from 7:30 till 10pm @ the Camrose football grounds , Western Way, Basingstoke RG22 6EZ Burger van on site and drinks avalible form the club house. No Stunt Driving as we have neighbours and we are a club for men not kids in prat mobiles Hope to see you there.
