I have tons of Classic and Retro Ford magazines from around 2000 right through to 2011. I don't think every issue is there, but probably every one from 2000 to 2003 and then from 2006/7 onwards should be complete. The Retro Ford mags are from around 2006 to 2011. I just want them to go to someone who will make use of them. They are great for project ideas and just general interest. They are in about 6 black Ikea A4 cardboard file boxes, which you can have also. I'm near Ware in Hertfordshire on the A10, so if you can pick 'em up in the next week or so they're yours - just PM me. It's a shame to take them to the dump, sorry, I mean 'Household Recycling Centre' cheers Rob

I know it was in storage for a long time and went through a couple of dealers before I got it. It isn't in bad shape at all now but I have done a bit of tidying/very minor welding etc. Still loads of odd jobs to do but it is very sound and original. I have been picking up the group 1 options it was missing and pretty much have them all now, just need time to fit them. Would be useful to speak to anyone who knows about the car if you have contact details would be great. I have a copy of Auto performace mag Jun '83 but not an original. Would like an original but they never seem to turn up. Must have been a small print run at the time. Regards, Rob

Bugger ! I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for the positive comments but I wish you hadn't mentioned the stripes. I presume the thin part of the stripe is supposed to be underneath ? Now you look at them I've also noticed that where the stripes taper off at the front is different each side - looks like they've been cut wrong. I can honestly say this was not my work (they probably wouldn't even be straight if it was). Another job ! I've looked at other X pack pics and nobody else seem to have these stripes anyway. If the paint isn't marked underneath I may just leave them off. It hasd some slightly dodgy very wide stripes that say 'X-Pack' down the sides. I was going to take these off but I am told they were a german only X-pack original option so may leave them on.

Thanks Tim for loading up the pics for me, when I get a bit more time to play on here I will work it out. I have just been making up some clips to hold the airbox lid on from some piano wire as they were mostly missing. My thumbs are killing me ! I have repaired the airbox as it was damaged and it just needs the carbs cleaning up and they're ready to go on. I have rebuild kits for the carbs, just need the right jets.....and some more spare time.
