The roof was like it, although i think there more than likely would have been vinyl there at some point, there is a definite colour fade-in around the sides of the rear window, tbh I wouldve gotten rid of vinyl if it had been there, just not a fan of the stuff, though it can look great if in good nick, think its a flashback reflex to my dads old vauxhall viva roof!!! antz - have you lowered yours? Did you do it yourself? If so send me a pm with what bits you used/needed, and how much you paid for em if its not too much trouble? Cheers dude

They are bastardly tight. Breaking the bead completley is pretty hard to do mind, nicking a bit of the rubber off it is the most i've ever managed to feck up. Try and find a place near you that has a Artiglio Master fitting machine. We've got one where i work, they are NEW NEW top of the range shizzle, and make things SOOOO easy, even run flats are a piece of cake. Mounts through the centre of tyre and no levers used at all, nothing touches the rim so no wheel marks/damage...

Some of the cars that caught my eye, not all ford, then batteries went, booo. If they're yours, nice ride!!!

Ok they are NOT alleycats, they are in that style but more intricate, made by performance of australia, for now it's settled, they are COLINS until proved otherwise!!!?! Scrubbing up ok anyways, you got the before pic, i'll post the after when its done... Cheers Gaz

UPDATE>>> Engine now serviced, tuned, points, plugs, condensor, tappets adjusted, 1 new rocker cover gasket, O/s front floor section, n/ssill/inner arch, spare wheel well welded, 2 new front calipers and pads / flexihoses, 2 rear wheels cylinders. Thanks to Adam Langley at www.caprirestorations.co.uk for his work, very good standard and cust services... Have just purchased some mystery wheels to smarten up and fit, will put more pics up when fitted...

What with their entire section called H2o, dedicated to watercooled cars such as sciroccos and golfs? (not uncool or unretro in my opinion?!) Back in your hole fella!!! UPDATE>>> Now minus non working pye cassette player and badly fitting centre console, looked pants so removed them, Fitted some firestone's on front and the part worn kumho's moved to the rear, De gunked with engine flush, changed oil and filter, AND today myself and my workmate roy fitted a brand new Peter Lloyd 4branch manifold and complete system, which fitted a treat, and sounds like a frikkin BEAST, get some pics up when get batterys charged in digicam... (Should this be moved to projects/resorations as thats the way its going? up to mods, dont mind if you move rather than me startin loads of threads?!!!) Cheers Gaz
