OK boys and girls. Just sold my supersport so there's not much point me coming on here anymore. I will just get depressed seeing everyone elses car too. Just wanted to say thanks for the chat and stuuf. Sometimes we agreed, sometimes not, but it was interesting none the less. Not a flat spot on the tyre is it? I've had that before. Sometimes the tyre isn't perfectly round especially if you have braked hard and locked up. Why not take it to kwik fit for a look cos they do a free inspection?

I reckon it's a good idea myself. Don't any of you drive down a road, see a wreath and a police sign for witnesses and wonder who died, how, when etc? I nearly wrote a book about them as a bit of a road safety thing. You know like a few details of the person, their age, whether they had kids etc, a bit about their life followed by details of the accident and then a conclusion as to the cause of it. I've lost a few friends (probably fell down the back of the sofa, cos that's where I find everything else I lose ) and I would like to think no-one would forgot me in a hurry. They probably will though, they'll be saying 'Dave who?'

Tell you what Tim, they may do a difficult job, but they know what they are letting themselves in for.I's not like you go to the job centre, agree to the job and start the next day is it? You have to go to training college, sit exams etc. If you are going to do all that, you need to know what you are letting yourself in for. If I was a 17 year old boy racer with huge alloys, deafening stereo, black windows etc fair enough. The police in my town are worse than useless. They have previously arrested me for trying to protect my 4 year old son. I don't think they like it when they throw you in the cells to stew (it didn't work), expect you to be terrified of them and then really do use the good cop/bad cop routine.Honestly, they STILL use that old chestnut! Especially when you get a 10 year old copper who ain't old enough to shave, that has probably not lost his virginity, telling me what I should or shouldn't do to protect my child. Patronising tinker lol. In my job I see hundreds (literally hundreds) of careless and dangerous incidents every week. There is too much reliance on speed, ooppss, I mean 'safety' cameras and less police on the roads dealing with dangerous, careless, or drink drivers. People assume cos they wear a uniform, the police are squeeky clean, but I can give you loads of incidents to prove that is not the case at all. Some are obviously doing a good job (apparently), but some I have met have a serious superiority complex. Just cos you have a blue light on your car it does not mean you are always right, never break the law and are above reproach in your manner, not by any means. I would not trust most coppers to direct traffic on a one way street, let alone deal with a criminal. By having speed, I mean safety' cameras on every street all they are doing is alienating the 35 Million law abiding motorists who may for a split second, exceed the speed limit by a couple of miles per hour. Well when they appeal for witnesses to anything I saw nothing, I heard nothing, I know nothing. They think they are so damn good, let them prove it!

So your insurers knew your tints were legaly too dark? Cool who do you insure with? I'm sure they'll be very popular. So you don't see not being able too see correctly out of the windows as dangerous? He was doing his job, you got caught now you're pissed. Sit down have a drink and calm down. Doing his job? Don't make me puke. Catching rapists, murderers,robbers etc is a little bit more inportant than harassing me. I told them something similar in no uncertain terms. They didn't like my opinion, but I don't care really. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, it's just that mine was right!

If I didn't think the windows were safe then I would remove them. I have NEVER pulled out on anyone in the dark cos I couldn't see properly. It's the heavy footed old bill with nothing better to do. The film stops the windows being smashed, it stopped people clearly seeing my face and it stops some rapist seeing when my wife is in the car on her own. Personal security s something everyone should take seriously. If I can see out fine, but no-one can see in, where is the harm in that? The film was on my car as a security and personnel safety thing. It was for safety, not vanity. I do not wish people who have previously attempted to kill me, or others who have threatened to do, to see when I am out and about. What ever happened to a right to privacy when out in my car. If I wear a balaclava whilst driving, the old bill would harass me, but Muslim women can wear one, call it a different name and they know they will be ok cos due to the politically correct brigade, no copper would dare ask them to remove it. That's racist cos I is white, innit?

Ok, so it's Friday night and I am driving to pick up my son in my car. I see blue lights in the mirror so I pull over. Some fat copper gets ouut and says 'Evening Sir, follow me, we have a test to carry ot on your vehicle'. I follow him and they test the tints on my windows at the front side and decide it's too dark. So I get a prohibition notice under section 66 of the Road Traffic Act. I had to remove the film there and then or not be allowed to drive my car. It made a right mess, thank to plod. The notice they gave me states some bull about vehicles in dangerous condition etc. Bull, absolute Bollox. Dangerous condition is no brakes, no lights, faulty steering, bald tyres etc. My insurers know about my tints and are fine. What the hell is wrong with coppers, harassing innocent working class, law abiding motorists. Like there's no drunks fighting and glassing people on a Friday night is there, nor smack head mugging grannies for their next fix, or drunk drivers, or boy racers with stupid exhaust invalidating their insurance etc? Then in a few weeks, police will be asking for help in this case or that case. Well they can kiss my ass if they think I will help them again. They bust 2 MILLION motorists a year for 'speeding' but allow smackhead to walk the streets, allow Muslims to preach hate openly on Finsbury park etc. I have helped the police before to detain suspects, given evidence in court, called them out to victims of violence, people injured in ditches, women stranded alone with hyporthermia, rescued people from burning vehicles, or when being attacked, help save the life of an unconscious female who was choking to death and the best they can do it to harass me for that. Well I telll you what plod. Next time you have your blues and two on, on your way to an incident, I will NOT be moving aside to let you past. And when I see someone unconscious or being attacked, I am gonna ignore it. It ain't my problem, right? You obviously have time to harass me and others like me with your petty, pathetic, heavy handed, OTY, bullshit policing. Next time someone is raped or murdered, beaten half to death or dying on the street, if you have time to harrass me, you should be out there where the REAL crime is. It IS what I pay you for! Nottingham has problems with drive by shootings, stabbings, rapes, muggings etc. It is known as assasination city for a reason. But fear not people, cause while your kid is being gunned down, or your wife is being raped, the coppers are sat in a lorry park eating McDonalds and ripping off the general public. There was a tme where I would help a copper being beaten about by a gang, but next time I would feel more inclined to join in than to stop it. SO WELL DONE STEVE GREEN AND THE BOYS FROM NOTTS. YOU GUYS KEEP ALIENATING THE PUBLIC, MAKE YOURSELVES EVEN LESS POPULAR, DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE.......... BUT FOR F**KS SAKE GET A LIFE YOU PATHETIC WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY.
