I drove past brantwood auto recyclers today in tottenham,and spotted in there racks a 2 door mk1 escort (olympic blue) 2 x anglias (both in spruce green) and a 2 door mk2 escort (venetian red)..if anyones interested in a resto projects they all looked worth saving and pretty much complete.... didnt get chance to have a good look,but if i pass there again ..ill stop... kev

yes !! ive found out this aswell since i started the thread !!! the last event in september was chaos,and there was huge traffic problems within that area most of the day..the police was involved aswell as there was a few minor accidents outside & loads of over heated classics.. all in all though,it is a great show,but has outgrown the venue now..i was taking my rs2 but wont be now as its not booked in and to late now..i guess this will be the case for many people.. glad they,ve pulled the plug on cars built after 1980,as there was the subaru,mr2 clubs etc coming in (sorry in my eyes these aint classis cars) lets see what happens next week,and yes im sure your question will be asked many times at the gate !!!

just to let everyone know that its the first classic car show of the year at battlebridge essex next weekend (10th may).. normally a good show this,plenty of old fords and many other makes and car clubs attend these shows,with a big auto jumble.... would advise anyone who wants to go (get there early) as it gets rammed out...it officially opens at 10am to 5pm...but you can normally get in before that.... its a £5 to get in... kev.

nice little turn out and a good selection of cars aswell ,im abit gutted i missed it now,but will be there next month for sure (with or without car). roll on march and bring on the summer !!!

the annual battlesbridge classic ford show is on sunday 17th august this year,i think its about £5 to get in. normally a good show,with every class of classic fords well represented. also auto jumble etc.so its defentally worth atleast a couple of hours to wander round. opens at 10 till 5 (i think !) location.battlesbridge village essex off a130 near wickford/sth woodham turning. show located behind battlebridge antique centre,and theres loads of parking on site.normally well signposted. "if your not doing anything ! this one is well worth a trip out "
