leaky gasket

hello chaps i've just bought a 5 speed type 9 to put in my mk2 cortina,only problem is my cortinas a hydrolic i'm told that theres a cylinder that fits on the gearbox to keep it all hydrolic rather than swap it all to cable.anyone know where i can get one of these and what sorta price they go for.cheers

my crossflow engines really annoying me at the moment,there is oil dripping,no make that pouring from the front of the sump where it all connects to flywheel. me an ma mate av taken the sump off an replaced the gasket an seals an it still hasn't done owt.am out of ideas ne1 help.cheers

how do.i'm ryan,21yrs old an from west yorkshire.i'm new to the site an fairly new to the old skool scene.iv'e got a lagoon blue 4door mk2 cortina with a stock 1600 crossflow in it(for the time being at least) but as is the case for most old fords or Fix Or Repair Dailiy as my mopar lovin friend likes to call them,its broken at the moment with an un-explainable oil leak.

hi there i'm new to the site,i'm a mate of flash cadillacs i've just bought a set of four spoke rs wheels,partly because they were dirt cheap but mainly because i liked them.i've got a mk2 cortina but not sure what theyd look like on it.just after some opinions cheers chatty
