thanks i hope to do some track days with it etc should be a right laugh it just spins for fun i don't think you can set off in it with out lighting the back wheels up its great lol

i got this capri 2.8i on ebay no pics just said uprated engine missing drivers recaro and small damage to the front it was only 1/2 hour driver away so i stuck it £270 for it and won it not really knowing what im getting but thourgh at that price its worth it for bits this is what i got a 180 bhp at the wheels moster ill give you a small run down of the spec engine kent cam fast road vulcan heads stage 2 inlet manifold ported steel timing gear k&n janspeed manifold and sytem sytem is rotten distributor (racing) racing spark plugs and leads axel lsd with 3.44.1 up rated front sturts and lowerd springs with roller top mounts adj rear shocks and 1 inch drop on back racing brakes dilled groved bucket seat for drivers seat did have cage and harness but these been taken out and the best thing its not a rot box so im doing it up i love 2.8i capris and after 5 of them ive found a good 1 after i got the car back i looked in the boot and found stickers etc saying won a load of things in 91/92/93/94/95 also took part didn't always win lol its also the fastist capri ive ever driven and ive driven a few now i just love it right ill stop going on and on heres some pics let us know what you think or if you know anything about the car (the bloke i got it off didn't really know anything about them) also any 1 got a front panel for sale ?

mk5 cortina are the best mine was a 1.6l when i started with mine now its like this soon to be 2.8i v6

i am sure some 1 found it and is restoring it. its in mess thourgh been sitting in a barn for years needs just about everything but i could be wrong it was on a film/tv car fourm thing theres a bloke on there with the sweeny granada thats in a mess to lol

here is my 4 door was my granadas under resto at the mo its having 4 new doors new wings few bits of welding in the floor all sturt tops etc all like new its going black with black recaro trim carbon fiber bumpers angel eye headlights mex front rear spoilers single 45 webber 4 branch and custom exhuast the car till now has never been welded and all orig paint etc done 65,000 miles from new and escorts go its a pretty good 1 really lol

was a good day i had a stand there rs7 mostly capri bits if any of ya got any bits off me was a little quite but still made it worth going and got my door and doorcards off escort tec thanks simon

you can buy a 1/24 mk1 fiesta its die cast and from spain ive seen 1 or 2 on ebay could try ebay spain aswell before i got into real cars i used to make and sell 1 off model kits i liked doing it but then i got a driving real 1s and aint got the time now lol simon

ill be there with a stand this year manily selling capri spares but have a loads of other rare bits rs extras spoiler bodykits custom alloys interiors etc

thanks ive just moved from that workshop im on the look out for new 1 though just need to find something thats right i would say mk2 fiesta in pretty much a classic now its also alot rare than mk1 and they don't look thet much differnt but every 1 to there own

hi new to the fourm so i thourgh ill post some pics of me cars my 2.1 capri spec 2.1 pinto ex rally car engine ment to have 165bhp need to get it on a rolling road to see needs some 45s for it aswell inside 1/2 recaros rs streeing wheel etc mk5 cortina 1.6l spec so far rs alloys rs streeing wheel gls recaro trim granada spoiler 2 inch lowed 2.8 engine to be fitted over winter my mk2 escort ghia (resto) so far ive got 15 revos for it bilstins princess 4 pots single webber 45 rs f&r spoilers for it need 1/4 bumpers and black black bumper and nice exhaust lol its having new wings doors and few bits in the floor and back of the sills still has oring sturt tops and doesn't need them doing lol once all the bodywork is done its going all black inside is getting retrimed back cloth with recaro in the front thanks for looking and let us know what you think of them good or bad
