  1. Still looking, I believe they are the same on a mk1 cortina as well
  2. I need a clutch release bearing carrier for a 105e anglia, does anybody have a spare that they would be willing to sell?
  3. Any size will do
  4. After a pre xflow engine and gearbox, must be complete and in working order, ideally with a front bowl sump and hydraulic clutch
  5. I'm after a 3 bar grill for my 100e, preferably an original one not a fibreglass copy.
  6. that traffic jam was a bit bad we were wandering around on the m1 we were so bored. by the time we got to santa pod all the beer we took down was warm
  7. i've got a set of four 10x15 fatboy wheels, the same as those on the bits4vits vitara, im after £80 for them if your interested? i've got my vitara insured with sureterm on a 4x4 policy which covers you for green laning, its £180 fully comp and im 25 with 2 years no claims.
  8. i got one of those for christmas as well
  9. i wouldn't come up towards buxton today, we have just had about 2 inches of snow in the last hour
  10. i was out playing in my 4x4 last night, there's hardly any snow in the towns but when you get on the outskirts of buxton theres plenty. the buxton to leek road was closed there was a digger out trying to clear a path through the snow last night. the cat and fiddle was closed and the road between castleton and chapel-en-le-frith was also closed. i ignored a few of the road closed signs and went for a play there were some fair sized snow drifts
  11. id check the weather before you set off up there, the cat and fiddle road has been shut for the last couple of days because of the snow

    4WD'ing

vitaras aren't too bad, i've managed to go places in my standard vitara where my mates land rover 110 and lightweight wont go i'm just waiting for my rear shocks to come so i can fit the 2" suspension lift and mud tyres to my vitara which should make it a lot better.
  13. i doubt it, mk3 granadas are just a big sierra and fold like a piece of paper. this is my old road car, pre facelift mk2 granny 2.3 v6 it looked nice and shiny from the outside but there were so many faults and bodges by previous owners it would have cost a fortune to put right. i advertised it on a few websites as breaking for spares but had very little interest so i had a bit of fun with it before it went to the scrap yard
  14. get your xflow rebuild by ron harris and youll be kicking the v6 arse's i've seen some of those harris engines go and they bloody fly, the only problem is i haven't got thousands of pounds to throw at it and its got to be fairly driveable as its got to get me to work and back everyday. the 24v is already sat in my garage doing nothing, is 200bhp as standard, reliable and shouldn't cost much to fit
  15. just wondering if anyone on here has put a v6 into a mk1 or 2 escort?? does the bulkhead have to be modified?? what do they handle like with the heavy v6 in?? what suspension and running gear are you using?? the cam has gone in my 1700 xflow and i can't decide wether to have the engine rebuilt to a higher spec or if i should put the 24v v6 in thats sat in my garage
