whilst on my way down to see a friend yesterday (to arrange next sundays run to brighton over a couple of beers and the old f1), my 1670 x-flow decided it didnt like the bearings and decided to chuck number 4 out of the exhaust side, nearly caught fire and generally made me make as many skids in my pants as there was on the road! lucky for me an aa man saw it and i was lucky enough to get a flatbed out to get me. (also saw a 2 door mk 2 escort whizz by eastbound on the a13!) my only problem now is that im engine-less for next sundays run! im in essex and would love to know if anyone would be able to sell me either a half decent bottom end or complete engine(1600 preferrable). im pretty sure my head and 244 cam and everything are intact. not sure if it'll match a standard 1600 block tho. please jim, can you fix it for me? haha thanks in much anticipation tel p.s. my email is terrykroymachine at hotmail dot com i dont always get on here at work! if im in hotmail, it kinda looks like im doing work! cheers folks!

cant put pictures up yet as im still a new chap! but my new mk2 should be on the road and going sideways again within the fortnight!!! i'll be going to brighton, but following the 'headliners' down. cant wait to see all the awesome motors!! mines the dolphin grey metallic 4 door! haha, my manager wont pay me any more than im on as he knows i want a 2 door!!!

hahaha, i love being crud when it comes to putting pictures up! i got some on my myspace thingy tho! i have a new 4 door now, and currently building a burton 1700 x-flow for it, should be done this week! anyone know how to get on the london-brighton cruise/trek/quest/thing late this year? or is it a case of turning up at ace? cheers again everyone for being such a cool bunch of people!

written off for a poxy £800, but as they say, where there's pain, there's a claim! so, looking for a new mk2 escy. im going to put a dead x-flow in it and keep the good one, so maybe a rolling shell is all i need! once i figure out how to put pics up, i'll chuck 'em on here. cheers for the welcome folks!

stoved in the front end of my mk2 escort because of a doris pulling out of a side road whilst i was minding my own business doing 40. she didnt even look where she was going. enough said! im gutted. so, the question is, is it repairable? i shall see tomorrow up at 'the yard'. maybe a new shell is needed. anyone know of any shells for sale? 2 or 4 door. cheers! never should have sold my mk1 2 door!
