Hey, just wondered if i could get an idea on what i would pay for a mk2 escort, the one i am going to look at is a 1.3 ghia been of the road for 13 years but has ben inside and dry, it is a solid shell thzt has at some point had one patch welded on it any help would be great, Cheers Tom

Well a little update of how the car is looking today, The pics, had to mot it today so got that sorted and then gave it a wash, Need to sort the ride height out as it jacked up etc so need to fit my other rear springs and adjust the front coilies. Got the wheels back from the powder coaters so ordered the tyres up and fitted, I recon they look ok!! oh and a pretty shit picture of the new exhaust we made up, full stainless twin box system so it is pritty quiet, well bar the carbs and thats the way i wanted it!! http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/drayton7615/DSC00159.jpg' alt='DSC00159.jpg'> Cheers Tom

Sorry not updated this in an age!! The wheels on there at the mo are the 5 spoke compomotives that are grey with the polished lip, but they are currenly a different colour!!

Well car is now back on the road after the rolling road set up and tune etc, is running very well, still running it in but goes very well and sounds f**king ACE!! It produed just under 130 bhp when it was on the rollers the tuner didnt abuse it as it was a fresh engine so taking it back once its run in for some further tweeks. The torque from the engine is ace it pulls really well! Pics and vid to follow!!!! Cheers Tom

Theres some pics in my previous post's but not near the car at the moment so got no really current pics, hope they help tho, would guess the ride height to be at about 90mm or maybe more.

With the 50mm drop had loads of clearance, could drive it anywhere really, but is pretty bad with the current ride height!! Cheers Tom

Well been on here a while so thought it was about time i did a little post. Has been a little project, started off as a Mk1 Fiesta 950 L but will just put some pics up and let them do the talking. This is the oldest pic i have from a bit after i bought it, new wheels and lowered 50mm all round but only on a set of springs. After a good clean and now on avo coilovers different wheels and once suspension was settled. American grill and new genuine Fiesta RS splitter, New engine, 1690cc fully lightened and balanced lairy cam etc etc Then went around the various tasks required to fit the new engine!! So old engine out Old engine Started to clean the bay up Cutting the inner-wing up to fit the escort LSD 5 speed gearbox with the gearbox in place Then the engine in etc Hope you like, Cheers Tom

would someone be so kind as to do me one ?????? This is quite funky but i dont mind anything really, and this is my car....

there are some markings, they have ford bages on the back, and the usual size markings but i can't remember the rest.

i got the wheels form an bloke at work for free, he's about 50 and he had them on a mk 1 was he was young so they are getting on! they are frod wheels but not sure what from, all i had to do was strip them back to the metal, then i sand blasted them, sparyed them, then spent a while with the wet and dry and then some metal polish! worth it tho!! got a mk2 XR2 so will be doing a CVH conversion, also have some twin 40's for it and i have a super charger that i am thinking about putting on it !
