just a quick message for anyone out there owning or knowing of any surviving broadspeed capris..........next year being the 40th anniversary of the capri,,there are plans for a large mk 1 gathering,,,so it seemed a good idea to finally get as many survivng broadspeeds in the same place at one time,,venue to be decided later in the year,,but probably midway up the country to be central for owners..so far we have 8 cars already promising to be there,,so the search is on for the other owners...we know of a few more out there but not who owns them so anyone with information,please get in touch or let them know,,,as im old and grey and wont be around for the next 40th anniversary!!! my own car has finally made it to the paintshop as planned and will be on the road at the end of march,,,even if theres a unknown one lurking in a barn somewhere,,bring it along,,we've got one arriving on a trailer already!!...so please get in touch,either with the capri mk 1 register or with me for the broadspeeds........... 07515 820453 cheers ian.c.

yep,not sure if fly has survived the test of time,,ive got a road test article in an old mag on that car,,different set up,as more modern on the granada,dont believe it used the holset,,i dig it out sometime,,reg number no active at the moment,,so cant guarantee it's around,,never say never though!!! andys right,,sounds like klm,,,,had the same colour interior ,correct spoiler and wheels,,well correct for that car anyway,,there was always plenty of options available,,klm's beeen for sale a few times in the last few years...cheers i.c

bout 15,,,still a few that are untraced at the mo,,,but things have a way of turning up when ya least expect it,,,,eg,,capriaddicts mk2......... added another 2 to the list in the last 6 months

no mate,,no wife switch,,,they are on the turbos,,this is a early non turbo version yep i seen pics of cappriaddicts car,,,know andy for years,,,he bought my old broadspeed,,still owns it too,,,they are about if ya know where to look,ive got files and details on close to 20 cars,,not all survive!

hope to send it off to the paintshop in the new year,once the house finally gets sold,,,taken long enough!!,,car is based on a 3000 gt xlr,,modified heads,+40 overbore,different cam etc,,its not run for many years,,but took the heads offf last weekend and all seems as it should,

hi all,,aint been on ere for yonks,,no spares,no cars and no wife,,,a bit more settled now!! lol,, i use a evergreen 16 gtxlr as my daily hack,one family owned from new,i got it when the old lady traded it into her local ford dealer for a new focus!! the salesman nearly fell over when he saw it!!! also waiting in the wings is a 1972 mk 1 broadspeed capri,hope to get this painted in the new year with some dosh left over from my divorce!!! anyone tell me how to post pics??? yep im a div!!!.cheers ian.c. ps happy new year!!
