Also I really, really like the norwegian red/gold esc mk1, featuring 715 bhp! Ribbed interior is not really my cup of tea, but 715 bhp is

Some nice cars there, none of them really made me look twice, exept maybe the BMW 850 (which I can look at as much as I want, and maybe even borrow, since one of my co-worker owns one). One thing that made me laugh a bit was the poodle in pic #1, it really suits the car it's standing beside.

Better keep an eye on the RF collection everytime your mates visit you, escpecially if you keep them as coffe table magazines like I do. My best friend borrowed 2 or 3 RF mags back when he bought a Granada, and of course his girlfriend tidied the house, and now she doesn't remember where the 3rd mag is (I got 2 of them back)... Next time I'll tell him to read the mags at MY flat!

Agree, tire weights should be fitted on the inside. In fact, why don't you ask the tire fitter to put the weight on the inside next time you mount a new set of tires? He'd probably be happy to do it for you, or else you'll kick his arse. -

Good choice, keeping the color! What's that thing on the roof? A safari-roof, or box-of-sardines-roof? -

Why would you re-paint it? By the looks of the pics, the paint is great, although we don't see the right hand side. Please keep it white, it looks stunning as it is! -
I'd love to say I know some of the Turbo guys, as we're all Norwegian, but I'd be lying if I did. But that's another discussion.

My idea of a good feature car is a vehicle which is well built/maintaned, it should be very thoroughly made. Either if it is restored to original shape, or if it is a balls out track day car or rally/race car. Also, a track day car which doubles as a concorus car may be the ultimate mix, if it features good looks AND great power/handling. To me, a car with no interior but seats, cage, steering wheel and a couple of gauges is not too exiting, but then again I'm all for good looks and nice interior details.

Man, that helmet i SO much alike the helmet on Turbonegro's Party Animals CD: For those of you who like punk/rock, that CD is hereby recomended! May that be The Stig inside the helmet on the CD?

[Pardon me, but new as I am to the old skool ford-scene, what kind of Ford is that? I don't think I've ever seen one of those in real life or in magazines... Maybe I'm just ignorant (or stupid?), or maybe I don't recocgnise it in those colors] EDIT: STUPID is the word you're looking for to describe me... If I only read all the comments thoroughly, I'd noticed someone writing "cortina". Anyway, it sure looks really, really cool! I love the gunmetal grey wheels! Dare I say it looks american? Dukes of Hazzard and 70's muscle cars in general spring to mind. -

Ah, I kinda figured that out after a while. Well, it's not gonna be slammed, because I'm gonna keep it original. But I agree, lowered escorts look killer! -
I have now changed my mind again, I'm keeping the first version from shooterm with some mild changes. Thanx a bunch, I'll buy you a beer sometime!

Of course I'm evil, I've known that since I peed the birth-doctor in the face on my very first day on earth.

Thanx, shoot-the-runner, that's quick responding! Nice one as well, really simple and effective (just the way I like my sig pics and cars, hehe). Not to be unthankful, I'd like to see if someone else wants to try? I'd love it if the pic taken directly from the front would be in it. Again, thanx!

I want a cool signature pic, but I have no skills at all in using photoshop/paint or whatver picture program... Can someone please make me a sig pic using these pics (or at least some of them)? I'd be forever grateful!

What is "a slam"? I'm Norwegian, so I don't know all the car terminology... Please bear with me! -

My plan is to restore it a bit, the front wings need to be replaced or maybe I can weld them, they are a bit rusty. Also, I need to get rid of some small spots of rust here and there soon. I plan to get a set of RS-wheels, I hope they will look OK on a not-lowered car. -

The weels aren't actually my choice either, they came with the car, and i can't afford new ones all the time. But I'm kinda satisfied with them, and i totally respect those who don't like them! -

Guess I'm gonna go out and buy the largest hammer available and slam the bumper 'till it looks like something off the autumn exhibition (exhibition for VERY modern art, a.k.a. organized trash). -

Again, thanks! About the rear bumper, it is not as deformed as the picture shows, it just has a small fist-sized dent on the left hand side. The top of the bumper is straight as an arrow. By the way, is it possible to straighten out the dent? It feels as if the metal is quite hard, but I might try and straighten it out with a large hammer. -

Thanks! Yeah, i'm a bit surprised about the wheels myself. I think it gives it a kind of rally look to it together with the head lamps. The rims are named Viper, they are listed as rims for Peugeots. I plan on fitting RS rims to Mowinckel sometime, I hope it will look killer! Just a little bragging: My Escort turns heads of all ages, from 5 year old girls pulling their mom's skirts shouting "Mom! Look at that cool car!" to 17 year old skaters (Cool ride, maaan), to 40-50 something year olds who remember Escorts as their first car. (Yeah, I always drive with the window open ) -
Here are som pictures and info on my dear Mowinckel. It's a very original Mk2 with a wild 1,3Litre engine. It has run only 65,000 km/40,400 miles, and it's in very good shape. Just a litte rust on the front vings, and some spots here and there. Also the brakes, clutch, steering and suspention are really tight, it uses little to no oil. Besides, the interior is very near mint, only the rear wall cards have a few scratches on them. During spring/winter I plan on restoring it quite a bit, at least try to stop the rust. The story behind the name Mowinckel: I am a huge fan of Norwegian rock band Kaizers Orchestra, who have a song called "Dr. Mowinckel" (one of my fave songs ever). Once, on my summers vacation to Oslo, the guitarist of Kaizers (who also wrote and sings "Dr Mowinckel) saw my car, turned his head and smiled at me, and pulled his friends sleeves for them to see my car as well. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present Mowinckel Rear end, unfortunately not cleaned after some days in the snow and dirty roads last winter Mowinckel and Morten's RS2000 @ Escort-meet last summer
