Andy, I'm still waiting for the DVLA to let me tax the car, so at present it's a no for me. Next friday is when they have said they will process my log book so it's not looking good at present. Matty

Hello all. I don't normally need to ask questions, but as I've been a member for a few year's I thought it was best to log in and say hello. I've a few hobby projects on the go. BOB into 2.8i is my main long term one, full resto. I'll need help with the elctronics side on this one. Landrover Defender 90 full body off rebuild with a freind last year, not mine as stated, but I did all the body work welding and paint. Mk2 Capri 2.0s Rat, last years 59 day's challenge. Rebuld a rolling shell in time for MK Capri show only missed it because the only item subbed out to the local auto electrian as they said the would do it there and then didn't come back for 4 days. I.E. fix 2 broken tracks on the dash clocks. (I could have fixed it that night) Just as well it wasn't fixed though as the pinion bearing let go with no warning at a local meeting. New axle was eventually sourced and is in place rebuilt. TBH I've lost interest in this project and it's possibly for sale. Solid shell as it's an older restoration. MOT'd just in bits. Well that was sorted in 61 days, but I didn't take it seriously enough at the start so it ran over. It was basically Sunday time off, full rewire and rebuild. MK3 Capri LS project, well this will be a keeper. If the log book issues are sorted this season it'll be out in a wash and polish mode after 5 years of hibernation in a freinds lock up. It needs a mild restoration, but is somthing I could have bought when I learned to drive. (Mot'd). And if I get time after this lot there is the other car my mate has I.E. his Mk2 Escort project, that needs final paint. Etc... Thank's for posting some of the recent restoration pictures as this has got me motivated, to get back to the main project. Well that's an over view of me and what I get up to. Enjoy your cars.
