  3. Hi, thought id introduce myself, ive been into old cars all my life and have a real love for old Fords, at the moment i own a 88' 2.9i Granada mk3, a 89' 1.6 Sierra estate and have recently bought a Granada mk2 estate, its a 2.8i ghia and is a bit of a rolling project, needs some tlc on the body and has a few other issues. Ive had a few mk4 & 5 Cortina's and about 15 Granada's all mk2 & 3, my dream car would be an early Mk1 Granada or a Consul gt.
  4. Thanks for the kind comments everybody The springs im using are cut originals sadly, the lowest springs i could find were -2, i was told of a company that would make springs up to any spec but i cant remember the name tbh i would like to change them for a proper job. Polybushing definately makes a difference but i think the guys who are in the know recommend only polybushing one end of the rear axle to allow a little flexability. I cant compare the before and after effects because the suspension was absolutely shot when i bought it!! along with quite possibly the original rockhard, split and cracked tyres, it certainly feels nice and tight now tho on a smooth road
  5. Thought it was about time i posted a few pics of my current toy, ive owned it for about 8mths now, lowered 80mm, polybushed, 15" mondeo steels, its running a granny 2.9i engine with a 5 spd box (sort of, still got to finish the wiring )
  6. Looks fantastic, black & white plates really suit it too.
