  1. A stunning day in Perth and 600 fine Fords of all ages and shapes and sizes came out for the show. Anything with a Ford badge is welcome, but it is mainly yank iron and Aussie cars. Here is a sample of what was there, including a transporter with 5 MK2 RS2000s on it. Hope you like...
  2. hahahaha you are right Wayne...these arent my pics...they do belong to 240 Corty who takes some brilliant pictures. hope you didnt mind me posting these up. will remember to give you credit next time

  5. Each year the club i am a member of has a historic around the houses event in a town called Albany, about 400km south of Perth. Always a good turn out and always a lot of old Fords, amongst others. Unfortunately the hillclimb on Saturday was cancelled as someone wrote his Cobra off in an arguement with a power pole. He also took down the pole and live power lines, so that was that. Sunday was magnificent...blue skies, coolish, and not a drop of rain. Hope you enjoy the pics. Mine is the yellow MK2 RS2000. http://s452.photobucket.com/albums/qq24 ... ny%202010/
  6. Hi all some pics from an event held in Perth today. The idea was to get the record for the most small Fords on a track at any one time for Australia. I think they were aiming for 50 cars but ended up with about 40. Lots of Mk1 Tinas, more Mk2 RS 2000s than I have seen together in years and some more classic Fords. The weather was perfect for it...cool and clear and nobody crashed into anything solid. a few people ended up in the dirt and a few blown up oily bits, but a brilliant day. Hope you like the pics of some classics Oz. http://s300.photobucket.com/albums/nn22 ... ty%202009/
  7. Hi All Just got back from a round-the-houses event in Albany, 400km south of Perth. The weekend includes a couple of hillclimbs and a day where the streets are closed off and regularity racing is conducted. Lots of classic Fords taking part. Never did find out where the Capris were hiding, but here are some of the Escorts and Cortinas that came along for the fun. FTR, the alternator on my RS shat itself 300 km from home and I limped home on a battery borrowed from a Mini. Oh the shame... Anyway, hope the pics work. While not a classic yet, a truly wonderful bit of kit.
  8. Here are a few pics of a hillclimb held on Saturday in Perth. ONly 3 OSFs there and all MK2 Escorts, but a bit more variety will be o show next month. The yellow RS is mine, the other two belong to mates. The white car is exceptionally quick and as 2-3 seconds off times set by an Impreza Sti and a Mitsi Evo. Beautiful day, weather was sensational and the car was sliding about like a dog on wet lino, but brilliant fun http://classicford.mine.nu/forum/topic. ... C_ID=17315
  9. What a stunner. I love the Mexico striping. We never got them in Oz and I would love to build a replica. I just need to finish my current project before I bring home another car.
