well done Mk2Jo, proper battles there I've still got the the Rossi/Gibernau fight at the beginning of the year saved (2nd round), still gets me on the edge of my seat every time

true, although I think in that incident in the WRC, it was just because of Martin's sheer speed

not strictly true mate. Alot of overtaking at last weekend's Tempest. and quite recently i think it was Markko Martin who got baulked on a stage by one of the junior WRC drivers and had to overtake, and put the other driver in the ditch Tim, you'll have to correct me on the finer details of this

the way I see it, rally cars always look like they're going fast, like they're actually working for their living. The black stuff boys always look like they're out for a sunday cruise in a picture!! (that's my opinion anyway)

can't not be rallying can it!? The escort is quite possibly more famous and more well known for it's rallying career than it is on the black stuff. "decent rally cars will always make good bases for tarmac cars, but never vice-versa" just look at McRae's mk2 at castle combe, totally mullered everything, including the dedicated circuit racers (oh and i'm buzzin' about rallying now, just got in from the Tempest )

Just picked this up, pics were taken at boxhill. It fooking rocks! Good little motor, didn't realise the spec list on the car, certainly shamed my pug LOL plans are to use it as the car was originally intended, and clean cleaning and polishing
